Turn Around

Turn Around was inspired by the experimental works of designer Martin Ballendat in his upholstery department. The aim was to offer a contemporary and interesting twist on the classic round seat design.

Different heights

Combined with a rotatable steel base, Turn Around was created. A stool with 2 different seat heights that can be used in both residential homes and hospitality venues

Martin Ballendat

Martin Ballendat has been an internationally successful designer for 35 years. Born in Bochum in 1958, he studied design at the Folkwangschule in Essen. In 1995 he founded his own studio in Northern Austria and later a second one in Germany. Design Ballendat is a company with 18 employees and is working with many well-known brands in more than 10 countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Netherlands, Thailand, USA, Egypt, Poland, France and Great Britain). He has received more than 150 design awards. For 15 years Martin Ballendat has been a lecturer and guest professor at the design schools of Graz and Salzburg. For more than 15 years lecturer and visiting professor at the university of applied sciences in the field of design in Graz and Salzburg More than 150 design prizes
