This product is the result of the union between two materials: wood, traditionally worked in our territory, which gives a “timeless” feeling, and integral polyurethane, the result of the industrial production of our times, which represents our innovative present.

Iconic armrests

Thanks to the experience in the selection and preparation of solid wood blocks, the process is able to be carried out in a machining center in the first stage with the gradual removal of the material, just as the sculptor does his work from a marble block.

High quality materials

The shell is made of integral polyurethane, a material that can combine softness and strength. After a long, careful hand sanding and polishing process, two iconic armrests made of oak or walnut are attached to it. Wooden legs are proposed in the same essence as the armrests.

Martin Ballendat

Martin Ballendat has been an internationally successful designer for 35 years. Born in Bochum in 1958, he studied design at the Folkwangschule in Essen. In 1995 he founded his own studio in Northern Austria and later a second one in Germany. Design Ballendat is a company with 18 employees and is working with many well-known brands in more than 10 countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Netherlands, Thailand, USA, Egypt, Poland, France and Great Britain). He has received more than 150 design awards. For 15 years Martin Ballendat has been a lecturer and guest professor at the design schools of Graz and Salzburg.
