Annette Lang

She runs her own design studio in Wiesbaden. Annette Lang, born in 1960, studied Industrial Design at the Stuttgart Academy of Arts. She then moved to Milan where she worked as a freelance from 1985 to 1988 for Matteo Thun, Antonio Citterio and Sottsass Associati. From 1988 to 1993, she was an assistant to prof. Richard Sapper at the Academy of Arts in Stuttgart and has been running her own design studio in Wiesbaden since 1988. Her works focuses on the development and design of “consumer” objects in the fields of household utensils, services tables, offices, furniture, lighting and medical technology. Annette Lang has participated in many national and international exhibitions and has received numerous awards for her work. She lectured at the Stuttgart Academy of Arts from 1994 to 1999.
